Benji Dods - graduated Landmark 2017 - University of Lincoln

It feels like yesterday that I left Landmark, but looking back on it, it’s been such an amazing journey. Landmark taught me a lot and prepared me for the work I had to do in college because I learned how to manage my time and get all my work in on time while achieving a good standard.

I went through multiple different thoughts when it came to what I wanted to do. When I left Landmark I went to Cambridge Regional College (CRC) and studied Uniformed Services, because I wanted to go into the Police. I made some great friends and had so many unique experiences. Although I had a lot of fun, I was able to balance my time and get my assignments done early which allowed me to achieve a Triple Distinction Star.

Even though I loved my time at CRC, I started to gain a keen interest in Business and Psychology from my dad, this led to me wanting to pursue a degree in Business Psychology and after visiting The University of Lincoln, I decided it was the best place to go. The 3 years I spent there were the best years of my life SO FAR. I loved the course I was on but the thing I loved most was meeting so many new people and living with my friends!

I finished my course with a 2:1 which allowed me to get the job I am in today which is working in the sales department of a big tec company in Cambridge called Redgate!

Isabel Mordue - graduated 2019 - Oxford Business and Media School

I spent the end of Year 10 & Year 11 at Landmark & left in 2019. I would like to thank all the staff at LIS once again for all their help and commitment to allow me to obtain the grades I did.

My family were planning to move to North Yorkshire a few months after I left Landmark, so I went to Ripon Grammar School, where I boarded until we moved.  I studied A level Spanish, Geography & Business Studies plus did the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification).

Despite the disruptions of the pandemic I’m sure many others also faced,  I still managed to enjoy my 2 years and left with some results I'm very proud of.  I had no idea what I wanted to do when leaving school;  all I knew was that uni wasn't for me.  So, I decided to further my education and study a 1 year Business Diploma at Oxford Media & Business School.  I wanted to gain the "uni experience" even if it was just for a year.

I gained some valuable skills which will help me out in a future role. I graduated in July 2022, & still don’t really know what I want to do!  I am currently working as a restaurant supervisor in a local hotel whilst I work out my future plans. However, I'm enjoying earning some money whilst still being able to take a step back and figure out where the future will take me

Liam Gilmour - Graduated Landmark 2019 - Anglia Ruskin University

Update from Parent. Your recommendation for CCSS was absolutely perfect for Liam, thank you!  A' levels were cancelled due to the pandemic, but from the mock assessments he got 3 Bs; Politics, Business and History, which was fantastic.

Liam had 3 offers and accepted ARU to do Politics - which given the lockdowns that followed - living at home was the right thing to do. So, he's in his final term and working on his dissertation and starting to look for internships in the local council or similar. He keeps contact with friends from Landmark and talks very fondly of his time with you. Over the past few years Liam has worked holidays and weekends at The Green Man here in Trumpington and has found he has a real talent for mixology, having to interact with customers has been really good for him.

Please pass on my regards to the staff who remember Liam.
