Ted's Lockdown Blog!
The positive side of lockdown is that after you have finished distance learning you can go on a mountain bike ride or go have a play on your Xbox. Another positive side is that I can spend more time playing with my Spaniel Jack. I also rode 16 miles on my mountain bike from home to Wicken Fen and back and had a picnic there too!
The negative side is that I miss Landmark and seeing my friends. And I also miss my judo classes, swimming, kung fu, football, tennis, cricket and also going to the beach and cafes and having a milkshake and some fish and chips.
I have been learning about crime and punishment in topic, decimals in math, writing newspaper reports in English and learning about how the ear works in science and lots, lots more. My mum is having to work from home so my Dad who cannot film in his work is doing the distance learning with the help of Mrs Leeson and Mrs Clark. Sometimes Mum and Dad make Rosie, Charlie and I a hot chocolate milk!
When lockdown is finished I am looking forward to seeing my friends, going back to school, going to beaches, cafes and riding the 12 mile mountain bike trail in High Lodge (Thetford Forest). I am also looking forward to going on holiday somewhere nice like Club la Santa sports village in Lanzarote or seeing family in Australia because I'm half Australian.
For now though while we're in lockdown we have baked a fresh loaf of bread and are going to have ploughman's lunch and for those that don't know what a ploughman's lunch is, it is chunks of freshly baked bread with butter, cheeses, hams and pickles, and a salad.
Hope to see you all soon, Ted. Year 4.
