Landmark students celebrate GCSE, IGCSE and FSMQ success

We would like to congratulate the graduating class of 2022 on their fantastic GCSE, IGCSE and FSMQ results. 

Landmark students study for both CIE IGCSE examinations and GCSE examinations. With the release of today's GCSE results we now have a full picture of the results. 

The students received 100% A*-C (9-4) grades in Art, Computer Science, English Language, Geography, History, Languages and the Sciences. 100% of the students who took five GCSEs or more, achieved five A*-C (9-4) grades including Maths and English.

Overall, 61% of the results have been A* or A (9-7) grades and 98% have been A*-C (9-4) grade. We would also like to give a special mention to some of our year 10 students who did really well in taking language and astronomy examinations early.

We had a number of students who additionally completed the Free Standing Maths Qualification (FSMQ). We offer the FSMQ to students who complete their IGCSE in January and who wish to continue and extend their maths education. The FSMQ is excellent preparation for those going on to study maths at a higher level. The three students who took the qualification all passed, with two of the students achieving the highest grade. 

The graduating class of 2022 have shown exceptional resilience and dedication to overcome the challenges of the last three years and achieve these results. We are immensely proud of them. We hope that they can take time to celebrate their excellent and well deserved achievements with their families and friends.
