Landmark Visits Shepreth Wildlife Park to Inquire into Food Chains: Student Voice

Robin Class had an amazing trip to Shepreth Wildlife Park on the 2nd May. We went to learn about food chains for our unit of inquiry. Here are the thoughts of our year two students:

We saw tigers which was one of my favourites. I learned that red pandas are endangered. Bodhi

My favourite animals were the capybara, meerkat and armadillo because they're very cute and fast. I don’t think you should go because it was stinky! Zeke

My favourite was the capybara and the armadillo. We saw animals such as otters, red pandas, alpacas, capybaras and tigers. I learned that the sun was a producer too. I recommend it because it can let you learn and have fun. Aphra

At Shepreth there is a bunny, red panda and a monkey and my favourite animal is a red panda because it is rare. I learned red pandas eat bamboo leaves. You should go there because it is fun and you can go with your family. Ron

We saw lots of animals but my favourite was the wolf and the red panda. I learned that the red panda can camouflage with the trees. I would definitely recommend it to you, it so fun so go there! Homa

We saw lots of different animals like tigers and we saw bunnies which were my favourite animal. We had a workshop to learn about the animals. We also got to listen to the tiger talk and the red panda one. I recommend going to Shepreth because it is interesting and fun. Leila

Mr favourites were bunnies because they are soft and red pandas because they are cute and rare. Robin Class went to a workshop about food chains and learned that there are two producers, the sun and plants. I recommend you go because there are lots of good and rare animals. Gemma

I saw capybaras and tigers. My favourite was the capybaras. I learned what a capybara is. I didn’t like it because the animals had scary noises. Jack
