Primary Celebration of Learning

On Thursday 26th May, the Primary parents were finally invited into school to share the children's learning. Due to restrictions throughout the pandemic, it has not been possible to allow parents the opportunity to come into school and look around the classrooms to share the children's learning.

It was really wonderful to see so many parents around the school again, finding out about their child's learning.

When asked how they found the experience, parents responded:

Brilliant. It´s our first time in the classroom since Covid. It’s wonderful, you get a good sense of the learning through tapestry, but good to see in person. The children are so happy.

Liz

I find it very useful, I don’t normally get a chance to see the books. I can see how the handwriting has progressed, and had the opportunity to see some interesting experiments in class. I hear about the learning at home, but it is different to see it in class.

Agnieszka

A wonderful experience seeing the children in the classroom and looking through their books.

Louise

Welcoming, comfortable. Easily accessible, it´s easier to visually see the books and handle them, rather than being told about the learning in the evening. This is great.

Tara

We very much look forward to continuing with these opportunities into the new academic year.
