UKMT Mathematics Competition Success for Landmark Students

Junior Maths Challenge

Each year Landmark secondary students take part in the various UKMT mathematics competitions. This year we had thirteen of our year 7 and 8 students take part in the Junior Maths Challenge.

Our students did exceptionally well. All students who took part received certificates and then for those who did particularly well were awarded bronze, silver and gold certificates. The following students received these awards:

Bronze

• Florian year 7

• Harrison year 8

• Chen Haiwu year 8

• Maisie year 8

Silver

• Elijah year 7

• Kai year 8

Gold

• Bernard year 7

The Junior Kangaroo

Whilst we say a big well done to all the students for taking part and doing so well, we need to say good luck to Bernard. Bernard’s achievement ranked him in the top 6% of all participants and means he has achieved a place in the next round called the Junior Kangaroo.
