2040 Documentary Trip and Review

2040 Documentary Trip and Review

The Landmark senior students were very lucky to go watch a documentary called: 2040 at the cinema on Wednesday the 6th of November. The documentary was about how we could improve our lifestyle to help save the planet from environmental damage.

Our students gave very different opinions and interests regarding the documentary. Some of the most interesting points made were: the driverless cars who are predicted to become more widespread, driverless shared transport and the energy share grids through which people can buy, sell and share their energy to become more independent and would not have to produce as my energy and power. These methods of reducing carbon emissions are not new but are not known to many people and not very used due to the technological development is very slow. This provides a good source of food for countries suffering from food shortages, because seaweed is

Our students really enjoyed watching 2040 on Wednesday and most if not all left the cinema empowered and with a feeling of hope and we can still save the planet from the disasters we keep hearing about. In my opinion, we as school should take more action and should maintain a more ecological lifestyle by trying to reduce our carbon footprint.
